Caveduck's text-first roleplay

Caveduck pitches itself as roleplay chat, so the writing has to carry the scene. How good that writing gets depends on two things: the model underneath and how carefully each character card is built. We couldn't confirm either one. A sharp card can carry a scene for hours. A lazy one goes all bark and no bite by message ten.

What keeps a GoLove thread going

GoLove layers a few small tools on top of the text so a scene doesn't stall:

• Stuck for a line? The magic-wand button writes 3 suggested replies.
• Didn't love her answer? Rate it 1–5 and regenerate.

This is the feature I'd point to first. You set the heat and the pacing for each chat instead of hoping the character guesses. Want a slow-burn novella? Push length up and keep lust low. Want trouble? You already know which slider to touch.

SpicyChat sells a paid Memory Manager for memories you save by hand, and adds automatic semantic memories on True Supporter and above. Janitor AI goes a different route: reply quality improves when you bring your own API key, but then you're paying that provider per token.

GoLove's Memory feature remembers your chat history, and ULTRA lists 8,000-message smart memory. Each character keeps her own voice and her own history, all in the same loop where she chats, sends photos and makes video. Nobody has to be reintroduced every morning (already less awkward than some real dates).

Caveduck's content policy

"NSFW-friendly" and NSFW you can actually see are two very different promises. For Caveduck, the real boundaries are whatever its content policy says on the day you read it. Read it, because we won't guess past that.

Asking for photos inside a GoLove chat

Here's how the flow runs:

1. You open a GoLove chat and nudge the lust slider up.
2. You tap the media button, choose Send Photo and describe the scene in your own words.
3. In about 20–45 seconds, a photo of that same character arrives for 1 Star. Her face and body stay consistent with her avatar and her earlier photos.

From photo to video in one tap

Under that photo sits a "Generate Video" button. One tap gets you a roughly 5-second clip of the same scene for about 10 Stars. That's spicy for real, not spicy in the brochure.

If you'd rather build the scene from scratch, the Generate tab has presets and runs 1, 2, 4 or 8 images at a time. It also offers 76 realistic video modes (147 in total), each assembled from action, clothes and background cards. (Yes, "Twerk" is a card. No, I won't read the rest aloud at brunch.)

Ten shows, 60 episodes

On this row, we couldn't confirm anything comparable from the other three apps on our scorecard. GoLove makes its own 18+ Series: vertical short dramas in the ReelShort/DramaBox format, starring GoLove characters.

Titles include "My Professor Locked the Door" and "The Only Mortal in Heaven." That second one pits an angel against a demoness, which is a very specific flavor of trouble. Episodes 1 and 2 of every series are free, even without an account. From episode 3 on, you need PRO plus a few Stars per episode. New episodes come weekly, per GoLove.

From the episode to her private chat

Four buttons sit under the player:

• Follow Series: catch the next drop.
• Start Chatting: opens a chat with the cast.
• Create Video: a video of the cast.
• Create Image: an image of the cast.

So the star of the show becomes your private chat partner, and she can send you photos. Voice calls are a PRO feature, reached through the phone icon in every chat.

Prices that move with region and promo

GoLove's pricing shifts by region and by promo, so the number you see at checkout may not match the one in our table. That's annoying for a review, and it's only fair to admit it.

A free tier built to tease

My biggest gripe is the free tier. It's a tease, and it's meant to be. Here's what we'd change:

• Free tier: deliberately thin. You get 2 daily reward Stars, a limited daily Feed and Series episodes 1–2. Voice calls and voice messages need PRO.
• Feed cap: we couldn't confirm the exact daily count before the "Unlock Unlimited Feed" paywall appears.
• Male characters: not yet. The gender filter shows "Male (Soon)," and the create wizard offers Realistic, Anime and Trans.
• Star burn on video: 1 Star buys an image, but a video costs 5 Stars or more, so a clip-heavy night drains the balance fast.
