I'm the one who calls the AI girls. Voice calls, voice notes, photo requests — anything where the app has to do more than type back at you lands on my desk, and I test it on a normal phone over a normal connection, not a lab rig. Naughty banter reads fine on a screen; whether it survives being said out loud in real time is a completely different question, and that gap is where most apps fall apart.

Before this I spent four years in mobile QA, so I time things. How many seconds until a voice call connects, whether the voice matches the personality, how long a requested photo actually takes to arrive in chat. When a feature is laggy or the voice breaks the mood, I write down the number instead of hand-waving it.
